Loose Associations
This 68-page hand-stitched and hand-bound book is a personal exploration inspired by the Loose Associations project format. It follows a structure that allows for intuitive and conceptual connections between images, text, and themes, taking the reader on a journey through moments from my life. Each spread reflects a connection that is meaningful to me, linking subjects and visual forms in unexpected ways.

Due to the handmade nature of the book, the full version is not available online. However, selected spreads are featured below to showcase some of the personal associations created throughout the book.

Ken Garland Tribute Publication
For this six-week university project, we were asked to choose a designer and create a publication inspired by their work and visual style. I selected Ken Garland, a legendary British graphic designer known for his bold typography, clear communication, and socially driven design.

The publication reflects Garland’s values through structured layouts, impactful quotes, and a strong editorial tone. It was printed and hand-bound, with a hard cover. This project celebrates Garland’s belief that design should serve both purpose and people.

VELO – A Cycling Zine
This zine was created as part of a four-week university unconventional publishing project where we were given complete creative freedom to explore any theme of our choice. With no set rules or guidelines, I chose to focus on the world of cycling—drawing inspiration from workshop culture, bikepacking, messengers, components, and riding itself.

The result is VELO, a 24-page zine that combines my own photography, found imagery, collages, diagrams, and textures to celebrate the bike in all its forms. The zine is mostly black and white, embracing the DIY aesthetic of traditional zines, with the exception of the centre spread, which is risograph printed in colour.

The final product was printed, hand-bound, and finished in the spirit of classic zine-making.
